3. The Buddhist Religion: Browse through the Suggested Readings from the supplementary bibliographic materials available with this popular textbook on Buddhism. You'll find the following bibliographic entries of particular interest in your study of the spread of Buddhism in Asia:

4. The Buddhism Resources on the Internet Page: For an extensive listing of WWW, Gopher, News & FTP sites on Buddhism scan through the entries on the Buddhism World's site.

5. Study Guide for Buddhism: When it comes time for the final, you won't want to miss reading through this useful synopsis of the important elements of Buddhism put together by the East Asian Studies Center at Indiana University.

6. Buddhism 101: Read through Tricycle Hub's introductory materials on Buddhism for an overview of the precepts of the religion. You'll especially want to take a look through:

The Gatelesss Passage: Visit Charles Patton's site featuring materials relevant to the study of Chinese Buddhism and browse through translations from The WWW Chinese Buddhist Canon Translation Project. Check out the Dharma Library's collection of translations from Mahayana Buddhist scriptures like the Diamond Sutra and the Flower Garland Sutra.
