This thesis seminar is designed to provide a supportive environment for students who will complete their honors thesis in the spring of 1998. We will first discuss theses typologies and the various phases the completion of a thesis requires. Secondly, we will move together through the various phases, giving fedback to each other and function, whenever possible, as a team. It is crucial that all students regularly attend this seminar. We will also have the opportunity to discuss theoretical issues as they pertain to the individual theses. The success of the individual thesis is largely contingent on the extent of the team spirit. Please also note that all the IFS advisors (Profs. Klee, Wren, Ehrlich, and Moran) are more than happy to discuss aspects of your thesis with you during their office hours. And you are, of course, more than welcome to see me during my office hours (T: 1-2, Th: 3:30-5:00) as well.
